Tom Brady said he tested positive for the coronavirus in February — shortly after his drunken adventures celebrating the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl title.

The legendary quarterback revealed his previous diagnosis to the Tampa Bay Times on Saturday.

It was not clear whether Brady contracted the virus during the Buccaneers’ boat parade, in which he famously threw the Lombardi Trophy to another boat, or if the 44-year-old had symptoms.

Although the Buccaneers will enter this season as one of two teams fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Brady said that he believes navigating the virus will be more challenging.

“I actually think it’s going to play more of a factor this year than last year, just because of the way what we’re doing now and what the stadium is going to look like and what the travel is going to look like and the people in the building and the fans,” Brady said. “It’s not like last year, although we’re getting tested like last year. It’s going to be, I definitely think guys are going to be out at different points and we’ve just got to deal with it.”
